Professur für Kulturgeschichte
Philipp Felsch studierte Geschichte und Philosophie in Freiburg i.Br., Köln, Bologna und Berlin. 2006 wurde er mit einer wissenschaftshistorischen Arbeit über Experimentalphysiologie und Alpinismus im 19. Jahrhundert an der Universität Zürich promoviert. Nach Stationen am Max-Planck-Institut für Wissenschaftsgeschichte in Berlin und an der ETH Zürich ist er seit 2018 Professor für Kulturgeschichte an der Humboldt-Universität.
Philipp Felsch studied history and philosophy in Freiburg im Breisgau, Cologne, Bologna, and Berlin. In 2006, he earned his doctorate from the University of Zurich with a dissertation on the history of science focusing on experimental physiology and alpinism in the 19th century. After holding positions at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science in Berlin and at ETH Zurich, he has been a professor of cultural history at Humboldt University since 2018.
